Kreuzers were coins of medium value, money for daily use. Below, there were denominations like the heller and the pfennig (1 kreuzer = 4 pfennig or 8 heller), and above diverse multiples of the kreuzer, for instance double or triple kreuzers, or 4-kreuzer-coins called batzen.
